We've made a change to our website but it isn't showing on the front-end

When someone visits your website, the page and its resources are cached on our server network and the visitor's browser. This is done to ensure the next time you and your visitors visit that page/website, it can load as quickly as possible.

Our server network cache is cleared automatically when you make a change to your website i.e. publish a new post, a new listing, add a new staff member or request a customisation with our development team. Your website also sends a request for clearing your visitor's browser cache.

However, sometimes a visitor's browser or network (including your office network) can sometimes have custom cache settings that prevent the device from showing the changes that have been made on your website after our server network cache is cleared.

A 'hard' refresh of your browser (i.e. Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc) will often resolve this issue. Here's how to perform a hard refresh on your device.

If this doesn't work, try clearing your browser history completely to remove all stored pages from your browser history.

Additional troubleshooting:

If you are connected to your office internet, try visiting your website on a device that isn't connected to your office internet i.e. your mobile device with wifi turned off.

If your website is showing the correct information outside your office internet connection, this is likely due to a network cache on your office internet and you will need to seek assistance from your IT team.
