Website Customisation Payment Process

During 2022, we received 1,975 website customisation requests from our clients (around 5 per day). 


Website customisation requests range from changing images, updating staff profile page layouts, adding video backgrounds, implementing new features like our Price Estimate or Suburb Profile features and everything in between!


Website customisations range in complexity from quick updates (included in your monthly website hosting, service and support) to sophisticated integrations (at additional cost) that require weeks of development and testing.


When it comes to website customisations or adding new features, anything is possible - budgets pending of course. 


Previously, for paid website customisations, payment was made once the updates were deployed to your website. But effective immediately, our process for paid website customisations is changing:

  • For paid website customisations up to 10 hours of development time, full payment is required before development commences.
  • For paid website customisations over 10 hours of development time, a 50% deposit is required before development commences. The remaining 50% balance is due before the updates are deployed to your live website.


Where a quote is provided for your review, we will continue to include an estimated timeframe for development. This estimated timeframe is based on the development start date, not the date in which the quote is sent.


All paid (and major) website customisations are carried out on a staging website, whereby you can review changes and approve them before they are deployed to your live website.
